We may revise these terms at any time by updating this page. Please check this page regularly for updates.

You acknowledge that the information and content on our website belong to Senior Legacy Books. You agree not to copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any part of our website for commercial purposes without our written consent.

Third-Party Content

Links to third-party content on our website are for your information and assessment only. We have no control over this content and provide it based on the source’s credibility, but accept no responsibility for its accuracy. Please use your judgment to decide its subjective value and credibility.

Electronic Communication

By giving us your email, you consent to get emails from Senior Legacy Books. You agree that anything exchanged by email or phone meets the legal needs of a business transaction. You must provide an accurate name, phone number, address, email address, and payment details. We are not responsible for issues caused by incorrect information that you may provide.

Service

Clients are responsible for verifying the accuracy of facts, copyright, libel, and privacy risks in their approved book content. If you mention something that you do not want in the book, please let us know to save time and avoid revisions. You can also request to remove this content from your draft at a later stage, before final approval is given.

We are committed to providing exceptional and affordable services and reserve the right to refuse service or cancel orders if you violate our Terms and Conditions. If eligible, refunds will be granted within 5-10 business days. All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change prices and availability as business needs dictate. We will make every effort to meet deadlines, but we are not responsible for service delays resulting from unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. In the event of any technical difficulties, we will communicate with you promptly.

Before finalizing your book and sending it to print, you will be required to approve the final manuscript. Your approval of this final manuscript constitutes your final acceptance and confirms your agreement with the book's content, granting us the authority to print the book and conclude the project.

Service Delays

We are not responsible for delays in providing our services if clients do not provide accurate contact information or fail to respond promptly when we require further information. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to temporarily or permanently discontinue our website, services, or trading name without prior notice. In this event, any current clients will receive a full or partial refund, if necessary. We will not be liable if, for any reason, our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

Disclaimer

We strive to provide high-quality ghostwriting services, including copies of a printed book that is satisfactory to the client. We cannot and do not fact-check the information you provide through interviews, documents, photos, or by any other means. You are responsible for the accuracy of this content.

We take no responsibility for third-party copyright infringement or plagiarism in your book’s original content. By using our services, you accept full responsibility for all content you provide and the content within your book. You also agree to indemnify us against any legal claims by third parties when using the content of your interviews, documents, photographs, and any materials you offer for creating your book that might lead to legal action.

We work with clients to create a book to their satisfaction while adhering to our editorial standards. If you wish, you can submit the final manuscript for publication with traditional publishers. However, please be aware that a Senior Legacy Book is not designed for commercial sale or traditional publishing, which is highly competitive and hard to access. Every publisher has their own editorial standards and conditions that need to be satisfied, and a Senior Legacy Book cannot be all things to all publishers. Should a Senior Legacy Book require minor or major revisions to accommodate the editorial standards of another publisher, we are not responsible for this revision or reimbursing any fees.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any client who advocates or incites violence, discrimination, hatred, or provides content that is obscene and contravenes the law.

While we endeavour to ensure that the digital files we transfer to our clients are free of known computer viruses, you accept responsibility for checking all emails, attachments, and other computer files before accessing them.

We strive to provide complete satisfaction with a premium service. However, we cannot guarantee that the content of any book we produce is entirely error-free. Sometimes, minor errors occur despite our best efforts. Our process has rigorous checks and balances in place to avoid minor errors appearing in the book. The reality is that the vast majority of mass-produced, published books contain some minor typos and small errors, which is the nature of doing business in this industry.

Because of the subjective nature of the books we produce, the first-person narrative will reflect unique characteristics of how a person speaks and communicates, whilst aiming to augment and enhance this, where possible, for the sake of grammar and readability. As such, clients will need to approve the final manuscript before it is printed as a book. If any errors are found after this, we are not responsible for correcting them or reimbursing fees as part of the original service agreement. Additionally, any revision and editing requests that arise after the book has been printed will incur a fee to amend and reprint the book.

Clients are responsible for reviewing the final version of a manuscript and contacting us should they discover any errors before or after publication. We are not obligated to refund the cost of our services should any errors be found. We request that clients contact us if they are not completely satisfied, and we will make every effort to remedy the situation. We will immediately correct any minor typos in the manuscript that are brought to our attention, provided this is done within six months of publishing and printing the first copies. An updated PDF will be provided at no additional charge. Reprints of the books will be subject to a fee.

Copyright

You retain sole intellectual property rights, including copyright ownership and control over the written content of your book. We do not claim any rights to your book or the content within your book.

Our work on any content published in your book does not imply our personal endorsement of it.
